Many of the students I work with have difficulty with emotional regulation skills. A challenge has been to find engaging activities and materials for older students. That’s why I created this activity to reinforce emotional regulation concepts that they are learning in our sessions.
After dealing the cards (I printed mine out on card stock and quickly cut up), students match colors or numbers. Cards have questions for discussion and role play. The first one to get rid of all their cards wins!
I use this game in grades 3 and up. What I especially like about the game is the broad application: I’ll be using it in my private practice as well as my school.
Take a look at it in my TP store & let me know what you think!
