This was one of those weeks I find fun to reflect on: it was diverse, inspiring and rewarding. I’d love to share some highlights with you!
Sunday I was invited to the 10-year-anniversary celebration at the Teacher Pay Teachers headquarters in Manhattan. Visiting the offices has been on my to-do list, so I was thrilled to attend!
Over the weekend I received Social Thinking’s latest release: Social Thinking & Me. I was eager to implement it right away; some of my students could really use a refresher in Social Thinking foundation concepts and others are just learning. So far the I’m enjoying using the materials and my students are responding to the lessons!
With the end of the year looming, my focus has been on FUN and
interactive language activities! My students are super stressed (PARCC
testing and more unstructured time have been big factors) and they love
coming to speech where we are great at disguising learning with hands-on
therapy! Here’s a few things we did this week:
